A main focus of this course is in the implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware but also Antenna design for mobile and satellite applications. IT deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and securely retrieve information. Embedded systems, digital signal processing and real time programming are important fields as well as the work on projects related to our student satellite program called HeidelSat.
